Brewing & Distilling

TYPE OF PUMP

Hot Liquor Pumps

Hot liquor transfer is one of the fundamental steps of all grain brewing. The pumps used for sparging during mashout or lautering need to be able to deal with elevated temperatures. Where a sparge arm is used for fly sparging, pressure may also be required from the pump. With this in mind, March May have developed a range of hot liquor pumps that are capable of handling and recirculating at high temperatures. We have been offering high temperature, food compatible pumps for some 40 years. Many of our brewing pumps are available to buy online from our shop.
